The Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT) is the body mandated by law to coordinate and monitor the implementation of Republic Act No. 9208, as amended, with the Department of Justice as the lead agency.

WHAT IS ORANGE YOUR ICON ADVOCACY INITIATIVE?
Now on its third year in the Philippines, the ORANGE YOUR ICON FOR 18 DAYS ADVOCACY INTITATIVE aims to strengthen the anti-VAW advocacy by enjoining new audiences to join the cause to end VAW.
The idea is to attract the public’s curiosity on why major landmarks or icons nationwide are colored orange, thereby providing opportunities for advocates to explain the Anti-VAW advocacy.
The Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) is pleased to invite GAD Focal Point System Members and Budget Officers (maximum of two participants per agency) of national government agencies (NGAs), attached agencies, bureaus, state universities and colleges (SUCs) and government-owned-and-controlled corporations (GOCCs) to attend the 2017 GAD Budget Forum. The venue for the 2017 GAD Budget Fora is the Sports and Cultural Center (SCC) of the Commission on Audit (COA) Central Office, Commonwealth, Quezon City.

The GAD Resource Pool (GR Pool), which is one of the components of the National (GAD) Resource Program (NGRP), is composed of individual GAD practitioners tapped by the PCW to provide Technical Assistance (TA) in GAD Mainstreaming to National Government Agencies (NGAs) and Local Government Units (LGUs). To date, PCW has 112 active GR Pool members.
#BilangBabae is an online advocacy initiative of the Philippine Commission on Women for the 2017 National Women’s Month Celebration.
This forum aims to celebrate women’s journey by sharing inspiring stories of change in their chosen fields, to encourage their fellow women to be empowered change agents. It will also serve as a venue for women to inspire and appreciate each other, and create an environment supportive of each other. At least 600 women from national government agencies, local government units, non-government and people’s organizations, private sector, and schools nationwide are expected to attend the forum which will be held in three series.
In his first State of the Nation Address (SONA), President Rodrigo Roa Duterte directed “all agencies, oversight bodies and local government units down to the barangay level to fully implement the Manga Carta of Women ”. This is to ensure that man and woman will be partners in the pursuit of the country’s economic, social, cultural and political developments.
