To date, PCW has certified 89 GR Pool members.

The 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW) is observed annually from November 25 to December 12. The objective of this annual event is to raise awareness among all stakeholders that VAW is a public issue of national concern. It supports the Philippine Government’s goal to protect the human rights of women and its commitment to address all forms of VAW, consistent with the Magna Carta of Women.

Pursuant to Republic Act (RA) 10028, otherwise known as the Expanded Breastfeeding Promotion Act of 2009, August of every year is Breastfeeding Awareness Month. This observance aims to raise public awareness on the importance of and to further promote breastfeeding in the country.

Sama-samang Pagsulong sa mga Agenda ni Juana is a public event organized by the Philippine Commission on Women in coordination with partner organizations as part of the series of activities for the 2016 National Women’s Month Celebration (NWMC). It will be held on March 16, 2016; 6:00 to 9:00 AM at the Burnham Green in front of the Quirino Grandstand in Luneta Park, Manila.

The ASEAN Commission on the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Women and Children (ACWC) was inaugurated during the 16th ASEAN Summit held in Ha Noi, Vietnam last 07 April 2010. The Philippines, through the Department of Social Welfare and Development and the Philippine Commission on Women actively participated in the establishment of the ACWC. It aims to uphold, promote, protect, respect and fulfill the human rights and fundamental freedoms of women and children in the ASEAN.

The observance of International Women’s Day (IWD) was a result of the organizing activities of women in the early 20th Century. Between 1909 and 1911, working women in the United States participated in organizing strike activities of the National Women’s Trade Union League and other concerned groups. They were responding to the low wages, lack of protective legislation and the poor working conditions to which women workers were subjected during that time.

Believing that film is a powerful tool in helping shape the public perception and stand on the issue of VAW, one of the activities for this year's campaign is a film festival, 2015 CineJuana, that will showcase films focusing on the issue of VAW. The film is open to public for free. This activity is in partnership with the Government Service Insurance System, National Commission for Culture and the Arts and Film Development Council of the Philippines.
