Job Summary: 

  1. General Functions:

Assists the Division in the social marketing of PCW’s programs, activities, and projects on women and gender and development.

  1. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Handles the acquisition and distribution of information materials on gender and other development issues, including cataloguing and classification of books and indexing of periodicals following generally accepted systems;
  2. Processes and uploads content to the PCW digital library;
  3. Manages the distribution, inventory, and reproduction of PCW publications;
  4. Provides reference services to library clients;
  5. Assists in providing women and GAD-related information and referral services to non-government clients;
  6. Assists in data buildup and management of PCW’s knowledge management system;
  7. Assists in organizing public advocacy activities;
  8. Represents the agency and/or the division in job-related meetings, conference, workshops, technical working groups, etc.

Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Educational Arts Major in Library Science
At least eight (8) hours of relevant training
At least two (2) hours of experience as Librarian, preferably including experience in e-library
RA 1080

Salary Grade: 

SG15

Salary: 

Php 30,531.00/month plus Php 2,000.00 PERA
