Job Summary: 

Duties and Responsibilities  

A.    Technical Functions

  • Planning and Implementation Functions:
  1. Provides technical assistance to partner agencies and private sector organizations related to WEE project planning, M and E and implementation of work plan;
  2. Works closely with Local Area Coordinators on project planning, implementation, and M & E in their assigned regions;
  3.  Drafts and prepares technical documents (i.e. policy paper, research findings, concept paper, activity proposals briefing materials, guides and tools to support project activities, documentations of activities/meetings/workshop proceedings and monitoring reports) as inputs to project partners’ work plans;
  4. Conducts basic research on the policy themes/thematic issues;
  5.  Provides inputs on knowledge management and communications;
  6. Leads in the conduct and/or facilitation of activities assigned to her/his for the period; and
  7. Oversees coordination in the provision of support to project stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation Functions:
  1. Provides guidance to partners in reporting and ensuring their compliance with project monitoring and reporting requirements particularly in the submission of outputs, and liquidation of project funds;
  2. Reviews and evaluates reports from the partners and provide recommendations to address gaps;
  3. Assists in the conduct of monitoring and evaluation activities and perform other M and E tasks, if needed.

B.    Auxiliary Functions

  1. Acts as technical backstop to Project Manager and WEE POV/POIV in implementation of the approved work plan;
  2. Represents the Project or PCW in inter-agency meetings, conferences, etc. if needed;
  3. Performs other related tasks as may be assigned or agreed upon with Project Manager and senior officers; and
  4. Assists in the conduct of monitoring and evaluation activities and perform other M&E tasks, if needed.

Qualifications: 

CSC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree relevant to the job
Eight (8) hours relevant training
Two (2) years relevant experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree preferably graduate of entrepreneurship, business management, or any related courses
Eight (8) hours relevant training
Two (2) years’ experience in project development, management, and monitoring and evaluation of foreign assisted projects; experience in community organizing

Salary Grade: 

SG-18

Salary: 

Php 40,637.00 plus Php 20% premium
