Sectoral Coordination Division (SCD)

Job Summary: 

1. Provides technical inputs in the planning, implementation, and assessment of the SCD’s overall strategic and operational plans and activities;
2. Provides technical assistance to agencies within PCW priority sectors on gender and development mainstreaming, development of gender-responsive sectoral plans, programs, activities, services and tools, and the application of GAD M&E Framework;
3. Provides additional technical inputs in the development and enhancement of sectoral plans, research and policy agenda, GAD technical assistance packages, GAD policies, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks, tools, and approaches;
4. Coordinates the forging of partnerships, networks for cooperation and institutional linkages within PCW’s priority sectors with government agencies, local government units (LGUs), regional mechanisms and other partners;
5. Organizes and participates in the conduct of sectoral GAD-related activities, consultations, meetings, policy advocacy, and monitoring and evaluation activities;
6. Assists in supervising, coaching, and mentoring GAD specialists in performing their assigned tasks as may be directed by the Chief and Supervising GAD Specialists of SCD;
7. Reviews GAD Plans and Budgets of National Government Agencies (NGAs) and other government instrumentalities within the assigned PCW priority sectors;
8. Prepares/draft and/or conducts 1st line review of concept papers, activity proposals, policy papers, and technical reports related to assigned tasks of GAD Specialists of SCD;
9. Participates and represents the PCW SCD and/or the immediate or higher supervisors in inter-agency committee meetings, consultations, workshops, seminars, and learning sessions and acts as technical backstop to the Division and PCW officials; and
10. Performs other related tasks that may be assigned by the Chief and/or Supervising GAD Specialists of SCD

- Bachelor’s degree preferably in any of the following areas: Gender/Women and Development, International Relations/Studies, Business Administration/Management. Social Development, Development Studies/Management, Economics...;
- Eight (8) hours of relevant training in any of the following: Gender Sensitivity, Gender Analysis and Tools Development...;
- 2 years of experience in any of the following: Gender and Development, Gender Mainstreaming, GAD Planning and Budgeting, Gender Analysis, Women’s Human Rights...; and
- Career Service (Professional)

Salary Grade: 

SG 18


Php 42,159.00 plus Php 2,000.00 PERA
